I couldn’t agree more, even though everyone in my family and town would disagree with me. I have friends, co-workers, students, and others in my life who are in same-sex relationships. It doesn’t change who they are as people. Who are we to think any less of their relationships?

Want to prevent the institution of marriage?
Don’t allow divorce and punish adultery.
Don’t want to see two guys holding hands?
Don’t look.
Want to judge someone in a same-sex relationship because of what you believe?
Remember that you’re probably not following each & every of those rules perfectly either.
I am tired of hearing them labeled as “the gays”. What is the need for the labels? We’re not called “the straights”. I despise the fact that we live in a society where people are judged and stereotyped based on these labels, the fact that people are afraid to be who they are simply because they will be judged and labeled, and the fact that people use religion as a an excuse to be bigots, and even worse… hypocrites. We’re all people, capable of love and have a need to be loved. Period.
